It’s time to celebrate at The Market Tavern! We’ve got good food, good company and plenty going on this Christmas.

Join us for our 2 or 3 course Christmas menu or Christmas finger buffet, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the season with friends, family and colleagues.

Then it’s time to party! This New Year’s Eve we’ll have live music followed by a DJ until 1am, so come and see out 2026 with us. Everyone is welcome on New Year’s Eve! Dining tables are available but book up quickly. The bar is open to all.

We’ll be closed on Christmas Day so our team can enjoy some well deserved time with their families, but our rooms will remain open throughout the Christmas period for anyone staying with us. Just a little heads up that breakfast won’t be served on Christmas Day.

Whether you’re joining us for a Christmas meal, drinks with friends or our New Year’s Eve celebrations, we’d love to have you with us at The Market Tavern.

Bookings

For parties of 1-7, please use the Book a Table button and select Christmas at The Market Tavern. A deposit of £10 per person is required to secure your booking.

T&Cs: £10pp non-refundable deposit due for all Christmas bookings. Bookings are not confirmed without a deposit. Cancellations forfeit the deposit. Please aim to submit pre-orders 14 days prior and no later than 5 days prior. Deposit paid will be deducted from the bill. An optional 12.5% service will be added but please don’t hesitate to let us know if you would like this removed.
